That’s significantly down from October’s estimate of $4.5bn.

The Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund’s (FHCF) losses from Hurricane Milton will be lower than initially expected.

The new estimates, released on 12 May, put Milton-associated losses at $3bn, while losses from Helene are $10mn.
