K2 Advisors’ outlook on ILS revised down to ‘overweight’ for Q1

Franklin Templeton’s K2 Advisors has revised down its outlook for ILS to “overweight” for Q1 2024, from “strongly overweight” in Q4 last year, as the outlook for ILW strategies moved down a notch to “neutral” from “overweight”.

The investment firm said it expected new capital to enter the market in Q1, given the strong performance across ILS risk segments in 2023.
