City National Rochdale Select Strategies Fund grew 8% over the year to 31 October 2023 to reach $217.6mn in assets under management (AuM), as it took up a defensive stance for the 2023 hurricane season.

The fund, which makes reinsurance investments in ILWs and cat bonds via Neuberger Berman’s ILS team, increased deployed and invested assets by 13% over the same timeframe to $213mn.
