Rob Newbold will succeed Bill Churney as president of extreme event solutions on the latter’s retirement at the end of the year.

Newbold joined Verisk in 2002 as a risk consultant and has held several roles at the firm.

Most recently, he served as executive vice president and COO for extreme event solutions.
