Future Fund allocation to ILS falls 27% to $1.9bn

Australian pension scheme Future Fund’s allocation to ILS declined by 27% in US dollar terms to A$2.8bn ($1.9bn) in the year to 30 June, down from A$3.8bn ($2.6bn) for its previous fiscal year.

The allocation fell to 1.4% as a proportion of the fund’s total assets of A$206.1bn ($137bn), compared to just under 2% at the prior year-end.
