Swiss insurer Signal Iduna Reinsurance (SI Re) has promoted Robert Salzmann to head of underwriting, responsible for assumed reinsurance (ARI), ILS markets and retrocession.

He will report to Bertrand Wollner, CEO of SI Re.

Salzmann joined the Zug-based carrier as an actuary in 2014 and was appointed head of pricing and ILS analytics in 2017.
