The Standards Board for Alternative Investments (SBAI) has introduced new stress tests and updated its Insurance Open Protocol (IOP) to harmonise with ILS protocol and other asset classes.

The IOP, which provides a template for funds with exposure to property cat insurance risk, has been developed to cater for risk types, sources of leverage, stress tests and side pocketing.
