Hiscox Re & ILS has appointed Ryan Barker as chief technology officer, based in London and reporting to Kathleen Reardon, CEO of Hiscox Re & ILS.

Barker is joining from Reinsurance Group of America, where he was head of information technology for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, having risen through the ranks from 2004 when he started out in a data administration role.
