Specialist MGA The Demex Group has raised $5mn from a syndicate of new and existing investors led by Blue Bear Capital, a major funding partner since 2021.

Demex, which offers stoploss protection against the accumulating losses caused by secondary perils, said the funding will help deliver new capabilities for its RCR Re platform.
