Crisis-hit Israeli InsurTech Vesttoo continues to operate and the staff remaining at the firm are “free of any suspicion”, according to incoming CEO Ami Barlev.

The executive said investigations being conducted at the firm had indicated the issues around allegedly fraudulent letters of credit were “external to the company”, involving certain banks and financial institutions.
