Florida Governor Ron DeSantis today signed three bills into law that his administration said will strengthen the state’s property insurance market, improve hazard mitigation programs and protect consumers against “bad actors”.

The three bills come after the presidential hopeful signed Florida’s tort reform bill in late March, which largely eliminated one-way attorney fees, limited the statute of limitations on filing negligence and revised laws about comparative negligence and the evidence...
