EQC finalises Totara Re cat bond to target $136mn

The Earthquake Commission of New Zealand has finalised its target size at NZ$225mn ($136mn) of coverage from its Totara Re cat bond, slightly lower than its initial target of NZ$250mn.

The pricing guidance for the bond was recently updated to 8.75%, against an initial range of 8%-8.75%, giving a multiplier of 2.56x
