Ark sidecar Outrigger Re has recorded a combined ratio of 21% in Q1, with gross and net written premiums at $44mn and net earned premiums at $5mn.

The sidecar was formed in Q4 last year with around $300mn of capital commitments, of which about half was from Ark owner White Mountains, as well as inputs from Aquiline and Enstar.
