Resolute Global develops modelled cat product Footprint with KCC

Resolute Global Partners has teamed up with modeller Karen Clark & Company (KCC) and broker Gallagher Re to develop Footprint, a cat reinsurance contract that will enable claims to be settled in 30 days and that supports automatic commutation within 30 days of contract maturity.

The offering will cover all cat risks, including severe convective storms, wildfires, hurricanes and earthquakes.

The Footprint contracts will be based on KCC's cat modelling technology, with the first transaction, covering convective storm, having completed already.
