Alpina Capital appoints Gawron managing director

Gregor Gawron, former portfolio manager at Credit Suisse Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS), has been appointed managing director at Alpina Capital, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He will be based onsite at Alpina in Switzerland.

Gawron was formerly head of ILS at Lombard Odier before he joined Credit Suisse ILS in February 2021, around the time the firm took over Lombard’s $100mn cat bond fund.
