WR Berkley’s Lifson Re sidecar grew to $380mn of equity at 1 January, up from its $250mn launch size in 2021.

The vehicle initially took a 22.5% participation on reinsurance placements protecting WR Berkley, but this increased to 30% as of 1 July 2022.
