Lancashire renews January LCM deals in-house on balance sheet

Lancashire has renewed deals previously written by its Lancashire Capital Management platform directly on its balance sheet in the January renewals, sources said.

The platform still has active ongoing third-party capital backing, it is understood, but the move to write risk via rated paper comes after its premium base had shrunk earlier last year.
