AM Best has assigned a financial strength rating (FSR) of A (Excellent) and a long-term issuer credit rating (long-term ICR) of “a+” (Excellent) to Fontana Reinsurance Ltd and Fontana Reinsurance US.

The rating agency also assigned the outlook for both as stable.

AM Best said the ratings for both Fontana Re and Fontana Re US reflect their “very strong” balance sheet, adequate operating performance, neutral business profile and very strong enterprise...
