Louisiana hit by tornadoes, central Florida on watch

Up to 5,000 structures in the town of Gretna, Louisiana were likely damaged by a storm which landed in the state at 4pm Wednesday, according to media reports.

The area has been affected by more than 40 tornadoes in the past two days, according to the Storm Prediction Center.
