This year was always going to be a “dig in and hold” kind of a year for the ILS sector following the global Covid pandemic and multiple messy loss-impacted years.

ILS market assets under management (AuM) were reflecting this as of June, nudging up by a small amount to reach $96bn, with little movement since the start of the year.
