Major Q1 claims erode more than 40% of Suncorp aggregate deductible

Storms and flooding during Suncorp’s first fiscal quarter have totalled A350mn-A$410mn ($226mn-$265mn), which at the lower bound would erode its aggregate deductible by 41%.

At the upper, it would have reached 48% of the deductible.

The Australian carrier said the full limits on all its reinsurance protections currently remain intact.
