Lancashire increases GWP by 34% and pegs Ian loss at $160mn-$190mn

Lancashire has reported gross written premiums (GWP) of $1.3bn for the first nine months of the year, a 34.3% increase on the $967.7mn recorded in the same period last year.

The carrier has also pegged its losses from Hurricane Ian, excluding the impact of reinstatement premiums and Lancashire Capital Management, at $160mn to $190mn.
