Early modelled loss projections for Typhoon Nanmadol suggest the storm will have a cost in the low single-digit billions, comfortably below the costs of the major typhoons of 2018-2019.

These projections are not official insured loss estimates from the modelling agencies, but rather indications based on similar scenarios that can be run through the models by users, and therefore they can only be viewed as a general baseline...
