Ghana sets up sovereign risk transfer scheme with IDF and partners

A sovereign risk transfer scheme has been launched by Ghana’s Ministry of Finance, with the Insurance Development Forum (IDF), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the German government backing the initiative.

The project, led by IDF members Allianz and Swiss Re, was announced at the IDF Summit in Zurich this week.
