Colorado State University (CSU) has added a fifth major storm to its forecast for the 2022 hurricane season on Thursday.

The latest prediction now foresees 20 named storms, up from 19, in the season that started on Wednesday. That includes 10 hurricanes, up from nine, and five major storms, up from four.
