Southern Fidelity has suspended new business and renewals as it scrambles to line up reinsurance coverage in a notably delayed renewal, this publication has learned.

In a message to agents, the carrier added that until they “can assure complete reinsurance coverage,” it will not be able to bind any existing quotes across all products lines around the state.
