PRA to create ‘green track’ for certain ILS deals after ‘disappointing’ volumes

The Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) is set to develop a “green channel” for certain types of new ILS applications in an attempt to speed up response times.

At an event in London today, Alan Sheppard, head of insurance policy, pledged that the green channel will provide “more certainty” and take a “more proportionate” view of the risks posed by proposed structures.
