Eclipse Re kicks off yearly issuance with $75mn cat bond lite

Eclipse Re has issued its first cat bond lite deal of the year with a $75mn class A note.

It took cat bond lite transactions tracked by this publication to $139mn so far this year.

The Bermuda-based transformer vehicle Eclipse, run by Horseshoe, completed total issuance of $402.2mn
