RMS estimates total Dudley and Eunice losses at EUR3bn-EUR4.5bn

Modeling agency RMS estimates that Windstorms Dudley and Eunice will cost the industry between EUR3bn ($3.4bn) and EUR4.5bn ($5.1bn)— with Eunice alone expected to contribute between EUR2.5bn ($2.8bn) to EUR3.5bn ($3.9) to the overall insured loss total.

This estimate would rank Eunice as the most damaging European windstorm event since Kyrill in 2007, the statement said.
