Dutch association puts storm losses at EUR500mn

The Duch Association of Insurers has estimated that insured damaged caused by the storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin in the Netherlands will cost EUR500mn ($567.1mn).

The storms have killed four people in the territory and caused major damage to private property, businesses and cars, due to fallen trees, blown-off roofs and leaks, with particularly bad damage in the provinces of Noord and Zuid-Holland.
