Plenum has said that no European storm cat bonds are likely to trigger due to severe storms in the region, as it pegged estimates of insured losses in Germany at EUR 900mn ($1,022mn) and initial damage in the UK at EUR 500m.

Two hurricane-force storms, Ylenia/Dudley and Zeynep/Eunice, which struck in the latter part of last week, were followed today by a third, Antonia/Franklin, on 21 February.
