HSCM injects capital into south-east insurer Southern Fidelity

HSCM Capital has plowed more capital into its south-east insurers after two active storm years but said it was confident improved incoming business would reap dividends from the additional investment.

The ILS manager took a majority stake in Southern Fidelity in late 2020, helping the Florida and Louisiana carrier to avoid going into receivership.
