Travelers loses $125mn from aggregate reinsurance treaty

Travelers lifted its occurrence reinsurance coverage for 2022 by $300mn, as its aggregate treaty shrank by $125mn following a second year of the insurer drawing down the aggregate in full.

The carrier this year placed 90% of its occurrence excess-of-loss treaty of $2bn in excess $3bn, providing $1.8bn of reinsurance cover versus $1.5bn
