Acrisure Re has appointed former Guy Carpenter managing director Ming Li to the new role of managing director and global head of catastrophe modelling.

He will lead the global catastrophe modelling effort to support reinsurance renewals and the production of new reinsurance opportunities, reporting to Michael Cross, president of Acrisure Re North America.
