Eclipse Re lists $277.2mn cat bond lite deal

Eclipse Re has issued a series of large private ILS issuances across four tranches totalling $277.2mn, significantly boosting year-to-date volumes, Bermuda Stock Exchange filings show.

The largest tranche of the latest issuance was the class 2021-09A, sized at $127.5mn.

It brings the total cat bond lite issuance by the platform, which is run by Bermuda-based Horseshoe, this year to $402.2mn.
