Fermat-managed GAM Star Cat Bond Fund bolsters GAM’s Q3

GAM Investments said inflows from GAM Star Cat Bond Fund, managed by Fermat Capital, had helped to offset CHF600mn ($642.4mn) in outflows from its fixed income pot during Q3.

Fixed income assets under management (AuM) totalled CHF15.0bn as of 30 September, down 3.8% in the quarter, with outflows primarily driven by allocation decisions by clients in GAM Star Credit Opportunities and GAM Local Emerging Bond funds.
