Lancashire has pegged net losses from recent natural catastrophes at $165mn-$185mn, and flagged a further $40mn of claims from rioting in South Africa during July.

The listed carrier said the losses of up to $185mn related to a string of recent weather events including Hurricane Ida and European storms Bernd, Volker and Xero.
