Arch MI places $639mn in third Bellemeade Re deal this year

Arch Mortgage Insurance has placed its third mortgage ILS deal of the year through Bellemeade Re 2021-3, comprising $508mn in bonds and $131mn direct reinsurance.

The total $639mn deal covers a portfolio of mortgage insurance policies issued by Arch and affiliates from April to June 2021, which relate to $28.7bn
