Florida’s largest insurers benefit from major dip in August claims lawsuits
New litigated claims against Florida’s largest P&C insurers have dropped by 35% in August to 4,313 from 6,663 in July, according to the litigation claims management software provider CaseGlide.
The firm said that it marked the second largest month-over-month percentage decline in new litigated claims experienced in the past five years, bested only by the September 2017’s 51% month-over-month decline, which coincided with Hurricane Irma’s landfall in Florida.
