Aspen adds $50mn to Capital Markets AuM in H1

Aspen said it grew third-party capital by $50mn to reach $850mn of assets under management in its Aspen Capital Markets brand in the first half, with capital raised for both its cat and non-cat products.

The (re)insurer also reported $30.5mn of total fee income from the platform. CEO Mark Cloutier said fee income was on track to exceed 2020 levels “significantly” after the carrier posted $32.6mn
