BMS Re’s Pete Chandler said the firm would “like to do more” in the ILS space as it lines up alongside other challenger reinsurance brokers jostling to grow.

The firm is currently not active in the cat bond space, but the firm’s president and CEO of North America reinsurance said this does not mean it wouldn’t look at acquiring or hiring that expertise in the future.
