Tropical Storm Elsa has entered the Florida straits and is due to move over parts of the west coast of Florida later today.

Locations on the west coast of Florida from Bonita Beach to the Aucilla River, inckuding Tampa Bay, have been given a storm surge warning by the National Hurricane Center in a 02:00 ET update.
