Aon: ILS capital up $2bn in Q4, but 2% down throughout 2020

Aon said that alternative assets under management finished 2020 at $94bn – $2bn ahead of its Q3 2020 figure, but 2% down throughout the full year from $95bn in 2019.

Deployable ILS funds are “somewhat lower” than headline figures, due to locked-up collateral following major loss events, the broker added.
