Guy Carpenter has launched a capital advisory operation for the Asia Pacific region which will be jointly led by Michael Owen and Hussain Ahmad.

The broker said that insurance companies are facing increased capital pressure due to market dynamics, regulatory developments and shareholders’ return expectations, which has led to heightened demand for capital solutions.
