ILS funds average 0.13% gain in January

ILS managers delivered an average gain of 0.13% in January, as funds investing in private ILS instruments got off to a slow start for the year, the Eurekahedge ILS Advisers index shows.

The monthly gain, however, lags the prior 10-year January average of 0.47%. Pure cat bond funds gained 0.29%, while private ILS strategies recorded a 0.02%
