H1 convergence losses could hit $2.5bn

The (re)insurance-linked capital markets stand to lose $1.5bn-$2.5bn of value from early 2011 cat losses across ILS, industry loss warranty (ILW) and collateralised reinsurance and retro instruments, according to Trading Risk research.
