Phoenix Re issues $42mn in private ILS notes

A new ILS vehicle has been listed on the Bermuda stock exchange raising $42.14mn of reinsurance cover. 

The identity of the cedant behind Phoenix 1 Re Pte. is unclear for now, and the vehicle could represent a collateralised reinsurance sidecar or a private ILS deal.
